Software Engineer

Ever since I can remember, I have wanted to explore the thousand faces of the world around me all at once. I was just as drawn to technology as to history, to public life as to afternoons spent playing Age of Empires or FIFA with friends. Preserving our built heritage mattered just as much to me as our living traditions, folk songs, and more recently, the world of folk dance. Yet literature held the same weight as sports, perhaps my greatest passion, alongside nature, our mountains, and over the past few years, skiing. Growing up, it was entirely natural to head to a math competition one weekend and step onto a stage as a storyteller the next, and that multifaceted curiosity has stayed with me ever since.

I started working early on alongside my university studies and have continued ever since as a software engineer; in this rapidly shifting landscape, I now work as an AI Engineer in the FinTech industry. Alongside engineering, leading an NGO over the past few years has allowed us to unlock opportunities through EU-funded projects for young people in Transylvania, often coming from disadvantaged backgrounds, to experience the wider world. For years, I taught robotics, smart-home programming, and applied AI to children aged 10–14, and I truly believe I learned just as much from them as they did from me.

In my free time, I do photography and fly drones, and I travel whenever I can to recharge for everyday challenges, though often a good run is just as rewarding.

I believe the world is fundamentally a good place, and it is up to us, as human beings, to preserve it and make it livable for everyone. Doing so takes persistent, dedicated effort from every single generation, just as it takes conscious work to safeguard what makes us human.
